A Palette of Red + Yellow

Hi and happy Thursday! I hope you all are having an excellent week! Today I thought I’d put together a palette that would look pretty for a Spring or Summer bridal shower. I don’t know about you, but I’m all about bright and bold colors. Pair that with a fun theme like poppies and you’ve got yourself a truly eye-catching theme. I’m absolutely loving this gorgeous shower invitation by Wedding Paper Divas as well as this lovely dress by Alfred Angelo.  It’s just so nice to see color used in unique ways. I love the statement that this two-tone dress makes! And who isn’t loving these colorful vases?

Shower Idea: Shades of Blue

I absolutely love this driveway framed by potted, blue hydrangea and couldn’t think of a better setting for a sweet bridal luncheon. Girls, gather all of your girlfriends for afternoon tea because today is the perfect inspiration. Set the tables with a soft blue linen and fluffy white centerpieces. White votives are perfect to fill the remaining space without making it look fussy. Use a script font for printed materials like menus or a special note to each of one your bridesmaids. After lunch serve lavender ice cream and send the ladies home with lavender seeds for the gardens. If I were the host I would wear this fabulous white and blue skirt! No one should be sad with this shades of blue themed shower!
